Examine emerging strategies for achieving a cure\, including the potential role of combination therapies and immunomodulators in improving cure rates in 2026 and beyond. \nRaymond F. Schinazi\, Ph.D.\, Hon DSc\, is the Frances Winship Walters Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University and founder and director of the Laboratory of Biochemical Pharmacology. An internationally recognized leader in antiviral drug development\, he has published more than 600 peer-reviewed papers and helped develop six FDA-approved antiviral and immunological therapies. His laboratory is known for major treatments for HIV and hepatitis C\, including Lamivudine\, Emtricitabine\, and Sofosbuvir. Dr. Schinazi has received numerous honors for his contributions to medicine\, including France’s Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
