This is the first in a series of case study video modules that utilizes the Sylvester FCI to demonstrate how the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Translational Science Principles have been applied to advance an interdisciplinary translational research project to address excess cancer risk and outcome in first responders. \nThe module focuses on the boundary crossing partnerships that enabled a simulated electric vehicle fire that was staged to study its health and environmental consequences.
