As a physician-scientist and computational oncologist\, his research focuses on characterizing the tumor–immune microenvironment to overcome immunotherapy resistance in multiple myeloma. By combining longitudinal single-cell multi-omics\, immune receptor profiling\, and ex vivo functional assays\, Dr. Coffey investigates the determinants of host T-cell fitness and exhaustion. DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating the remarkable achievements of our graduating medical students at the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine Commencement Ceremony. This significant event marks the culmination of years of dedication\, perseverance\, and hard work as our students embark on their journey into the medical profession. The ceremony will be: \nSaturday\, May 8\, 2027 at 4:00 PM\nWatsco Center at the University of Miami\n \nTickets are not required. \nVenue\nWatsco Center on the Coral Gables campus: 1245 Dauer Drive\, Coral Gables\, Florida 33146. For more information regarding the venue\, visit the Watsco Center website. \nTime\n4 p.m.; doors open 1 hour in advance of the ceremony. \nTransportation\n\nFree parking is conveniently available at the Watsco Center. Taxi and ride share are a convenient way to get to campus. For Commencement Ceremonies taxi and ride share should utilize the drop off and pick up location indicated on the parking map. \n\nVenue & Ticketing\n\nTickets are not required and there is no limit to the number of guests students may invite to attend the ceremony.
