She earned her M.D. from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and her M.P.H. in epidemiology from the Yale School of Public Health. \nShe completed her internal medicine residency at Columbia University Medical Center and subsequently served as a hospitalist and Instructor of Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia.
