His work advances research\, patient care\, and public health through data-driven innovation. He has led major informatics institutions\, including serving as Chair of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University and as President and CEO of the Regenstrief Institute. \nA pioneer in clinical research informatics\, Dr. Embí coined and operationalized algorithmovigilance for responsible AI and served as the nation’s first Chief Research Information Officer.
