Eduardo de Marchena, M.D.
Professor of Medicine and Surgery
Dr. Eduardo de Marchena is the Associate Dean for International Medicine, Professor of Medicine and Surgery. He is an interventional cardiologist who has widely published in various areas of cardiovascular medicine and structural heart disease. During his tenure at the University, Dr. de Marchena has spearheaded many key programs such as the Heart Transplantation and the Interventional Cardiology training Program. He has served as the Chairman of the University of Miami Medical Group, as Chief of the Division of Cardiology and as Interim Chairman of the Department of Medicine. He has also been the Program Director of Interventional Cardiology and Cardiology fellowship programs. He is the pioneer and Program Director, Eberhard Grube International Structural Heart Training at University of Miami Leonard Miller School of Medicine.
