TOPIC: Pulmonary Amyloidosis Associated with Sjogren’s Syndrome

  • Pathogenesis of pulmonary amyloidosis
  • Associated imaging patterns and histologic findings of pulmonary amyloidosis

TOPIC: Mechanistic Insights into Right Ventricular Failure in Pulmonary Hypertension

OBJECTIVES – At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the mechanisms underlying right ventricular (RV) dysfunction and failure in pulmonary hypertension.
  • Explain how RV–pulmonary arterial coupling and myocardial perfusion contribute to RV adaptation and clinical outcomes.
  • Evaluate emerging biomarkers and imaging measures, including COL18A1/endostatin, for assessing RV dysfunction and prognosis in pulmonary hypertension.
