Dr. Panara Shukla graduated from the University of Miami with her bachelor’s degree and stayed at the Miller School of Medicine to complete her medical degree. Following medical school she moved to Houston, Texas to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at the Baylor College of Medicine, after which she returned to the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital to complete her subspecialty training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. After her graduation she joined the Division of Digestive Health at the University of Miami as a teaching faculty member focusing on General GI at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She is also a Longitudinal Clinical Educator with the Next Gen undergraduate medical curriculum. She currently serves as Director of Quality and Patient Safety for the GI department at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
