Explore how AI is redefining biomedical science: identify problems where deep learning excels, understand foundational models and fine-tuning, and learn how to integrate biological knowledge into AI methods.
Dr. Wei Sun’s research focuses on developing statistical and computational methods to analyze complex “omics” data, including genomics and proteomics. He integrates multiple layers of tumor data to study intra-tumor heterogeneity and the tumor microenvironment. He and his team aim to generate new insights in cancer biology and advance approaches for precision medicine.
