Jibran Durrani, MD

Dr. Durrani’s research focuses on bone marrow failure syndromes, myeloid malignancies, and the role of genetics and immune dysregulation in hematopoiesis. His work has been published in top-tier journals, such as Blood Advances, Haematologica, and Leukemia, and includes key contributions to the understanding of immune escape mechanisms, myelodysplastic syndromes, and immune aplastic anemia. He has also co-authored several influential book chapters in hematology

  • Diagnose pancytopenia due to aplastic anemia
  • Evaluation and management of aplastic anemia
  • Identify and manage long term sequalae of aplastic anemia and its medical management
