2024 National Symposium
The Global Surgery Student Alliance (GSSA) and University of Miami Global Institute for Community Health and Development are hosting their 2024 National Symposium on April 27, 2024 at the Shalala Student Center on the Gables Campus.
They invite undergraduate, graduate, and medical students to submit an abstract for presentation. The meeting’s theme is Operating in an Uncertain World: Responding to Natural and Man-Made Disasters. Anyone interested in the delivery of global medicine and surgery as well as improvements in health equity are invited to submit an abstract. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis until 11:59PM EST on February 4, 2024.
